When I was a kid
I dreamed I could swim
Not in the water but air
I’d leap off the ground
And then yes I found
I could swim in the air all around
I would take to the sky
And beneath me I’d spy
So many places I wanted to go
I could stay in one spot
Or flap my arms quite allot
And I’d travel so far and I found
I could hear yes through roofs
So be careful it would behoove
Many things that were said if they knew
If I were above their roof
They would be cautious I’ll tell you
You would not believe all I heard
So some evening I may swim
Over your house but won’t come in
And I promise I won’t tell, you got my word
