As we approach the turkey day
My memories are not few
I remember the first Thanksgiving Day
You yes came in my view
I remember yes the catastophes
That happened several years
The year the turkey yes would not fit
In the oven and many years
Yes years that now are gone because
You are gone and this year I see
A new life up ahead with one
Another but just who we’ll see
I miss the happy days of past
But ahead I hope not few
Yes I look for my dreams of happier times
To now oh yes come true
