This time of year
Can bring to you
Thoughts so nice
And also not so nice
I try to think happy thoughts about it
But sometimes the blues hit
Remembering past happy times
And knowing that they are gone
Can bring on the blues
I am trying to build new happy times
With the new love of my life
Christmas is a time that love should be shared
And the blues should be put away
But sometimes it is hard to do that
May the spirit of the birth of Jesus
Fill your heart with love
And may any blues be chased away
