This morning chill
Will bring a thrill
To those who love the cold
To me please give
The warmth that lives
In the breeze that a spring day gives
Cold winter blasts
Sometimes do cast
A chill upon your heart
The trees are bare
And I don’t care
To wake and see the dark
Yes winter’s cold
Yes I am told
Does bring glee to those souls
Who brave it’s wind
But I am glad I am in
A warm place and not the cold
When spring does bloom
I turn into a happier man I do
Life is born anew
And I get to view
The world reborn again
This is not one of my best but It was really cold this morning
