Our genes
Not blue or black
Or tan you see
Our genes decide
Just how we will be
Yes how we’ll be
Yes as we age
Our genes yes will not
Be the rage
Our genes will say
How we will feel
And how certain ailment
How we will deal
My Sis and I
See how we are alike
And what brought us here
And not on a bike
A geneticist would like
To see our genes
And try to figure us out
But that would mean
Poking us full of holes
To look at our blood
And really Sis
I know you must feel
You’ve had enough
Each doctor as you said
Does not connect the whole picture
They only look at their focused part
I pray real soon one of them widens their view
And truly finds a cure for you
