Memory has a cast of characters
When we are young
They easily come to mind
But as we age the link to them
Sometimes is hard to find
Yes memories can get tangled in
Yes in your mind
You see
The link to names
Of people and
Just common things you see
Yes if you have Alzheimer’s, you
Can’t link the terms you need
A disconnect yes happens in
Yes in our brain you see
Yes memory has a cast of characters
But sometimes they hide from view
A person’s name or
Just the word for car
Will just not come to you
I want to thank Truenobleman for his title I hope I did it justice.
