Semi sweet chocolate
At least for me
Is a wonderful flavor
Which I am savoring
Oh weee
And getting half price after Easter
Yes is even better you see
But because I am diabetic
Only a little for me
I will enjoy every morsel
As it melts on my tongue oh boy we’ll see
Much much more of it
I would love to enjoy
But if I eat more if it
My blood sugar will soar
And other parts of me will pay for this enjoyment
Yes this old boy I am sure
A delicate balance everyday
I have in my life
And this short enjoyment
I must say will yes shorten my life
No saying how many years yes already
Have I thrown to the wind
Because I enjoyed many semi sweet pieces of this chocolate
You can bet I have sinned
If I eat sugarless chocolate
That too can cause me other pain
As what I have eaten is then flushed down the drain
So I try to make the three ounces
That I got half price last for days
But both you and I know
It ain’t gonna happen
