A moonlight walk
On the beach with you
Was wonderful
Was marvelous
I am telling you
Just having you by my side
Looking at the moon
And seeing our shadows
Reflected on the sand
It thrilled me to be with you
And also hearing the surf
Was fun to have travelled there
It really was worth
Was worth the time we spent
Walking down by the surf
And holding your hand and kissing you
It really did reach
Yes reach deep in my soul
And created an excitement untold
Oh yes that’s what our trip did do
I am really yes sold
Sold on what Cape May can do
To make our romance
Be yes very special
Now next time we will dance
Yes dance on that beach
I will twirl you around
Romance in the moonlight there
Will always be found
This may not be one of my best but it
captures somewhat the feeling I felt
walking with my love on the beach
in the moonlight at Cape May.
