I finally got my aids today
Yippie, Hip Hip Hooray
This day oh yes was special so
I yes have to relay
The feelings when the sounds again
Came to my ears so real
I yes can hear again life’s sound
And feel oh yes I feel
I am apart of life again
I have missed yes for so long
The sound of life that other’s hear
They have been gone and now I belong
I belong to the hearing world again
It makes my mind yes spin
And I will hear the sounds
And yes the noise
That I have not heard
Now the sounds again are in
Are in my head and I can hear
There are tears yes in my eyes
And the lack of sounds are gone away
And now again my mind will fly
Yes fly with new sounds in my head
More poems will come to me
Because of all the sounds
That I have missed
Will come alive again for me
