What inspires me
To write a poem
A song
A sunset
Something someone has done
A rabbit scampering
A beautiful child
It does not take much
For my imagination to run wild
What inspires me
Just about any old thing
Just waking up
Oh yes can bring
Yes poems come to me
And they may make you run
All that I can say is
I usually have fun
Yes fun writing down the thoughts
That run through my head
And I know I’ll continue
Until I am dead
Things just pop in my head
and flow and where they come from
