Today I cried some tears yes
Yes on my way to work
The thoughts of all that horror
A year ago was what brought
Yes brought me yes to cying
Last year I had to hide
I had to PLAY the STRONG BOSS
Although t’was hard to hide
I had to tell the worker’s
That they were not allowed to go
Yes go home to their loved ones
And if they left their pay they would forgo
I could not believe the callousness
Of this government agency
And how did they remember last year
They rang the county bell times three
Do you think that they could spare the time
Days like this just make me sick
But yes I guess I should expect to see
Because compassionate is not the word I’d pick
But it made me very emotional
To think of all the people lost
And yes I pray for their families who yes did
Also pay a cost
So when you do go to your beds
Tonight says prayers that the
Yes that the cowards that did those acts
Can never again hurt this land of free
