The year ahead
I pray will be
Much better than
We did ever see
Our family has suffered
And the end’s in site
I pray to God
With all my might
He helps us finally
To pass the storm
And holds us in his
Loving arms
So now again
Oh Lord I pray
Help us to see
A brand new day
Please help this year
Ahead to be
A wondous one
For my family
And I also pray
For other’s too
Who are hurting and afraid
To ask of you
Please help them guide them
On their way
Oh yes Dear Lord
I pray today
