This morning I woke
And heard the news
A boy was lost
And I knew
Just how his parents
They did feel
The terror inside them
I know was real
This nine year old boy
Disappeared when he
Was walking to soccer practice
I know all the
The thoughts that were flashing
Through his parents heads
You think the worse
And pray they are not dead
Over fifteen hours
The boy was finally found
He was lost in the woods
And not far from home he was found
Oh yes this brought
Right back to me
The feelings I had
When it happened to me
So pray for this family
That they don’t ever see
Another fifteen hours
Like they did see
So kiss your children
Let them know each day
How much they are loved
And pray they never stray
