Thank God it’s today
Each day I say
Because see I’ve made it
God let me stay
He did not call me home
He let me be
Here to see another sunrise
In front of me
Thank God it’s today
Please help me do
All of the things that YOU
Want me to do
Help me to be productive
And do what YOU
Had in your plans today
For me to do
Thank God it’s today
Dear God I say
Thank you for adding another day
To my life and I pray
And if today is my last day
Please let it be
A day that is pleasing
Yes to Thee
