Today I heard
A voice inside
It said, I hope you know
That some day, yes
You will be dead
Before you are please know
Please know your life
Is just a speck
A speck in heavenly time
This voice I heard
Asked, If the way I lived
Yes I would want to hide
Yes hide my thoughts and actions from
Our Lord and God about
This voice said it cannot be done
But God’s a God of love
Oh yes he loves us
And he wants
For us to live with him
So if you are living as if you
Won’t live eternally
Please don’t, because if not in heaven
Then hell is where you’ll dwell
Just ask God for his help to live
So you will go and dwell
Yes dwell with him and with his son
Ask for his spirit to guide
Yes guide you on your path in life
And you won’t need to hide
