I long to see
The people who
Oh yes were once
Here in my view
They have gone
Crossed over
Yes they did find
The answers that
Have filled my mind
Is there a heaven?
Oh will I find
Myself up there
When eternal sleep I find
I miss those loved one’s
Wish to see
Yes see them now
Wish they could be
Oh yes be near me
Help me to know
What it is like
And what they know
Yes do know now
That they are gone
And will oh will
It be real long

When I will find
These answers that
Do fill my mind
I do have faith
And I do see
That heaven yes
Does wait for me
But times like this
I sure do pine
To have those gone
Back so I’ll find
Some concrete answers
But I’ll never know
The real real truth
Until I go
And meet them after
My breath does leave
But God my God
