You Gotta Accentuate The Positive
How many of you know this song
I am sure that I don’t belong
In a large group of people who
Remember this grand old tune
I don’t say ignore all bad
Or don’t write about things so sad
I was just trying for at least a day
To ask everyone to try to say
Good things, nice things
Things that you
Would like to be said
Oh yes to you
Wouldn’t it be nice
For just a day
To read nice things
And good things
That’s all I tried to say
I am not one who thinks that you
Can escape all bad things that come in view
I just wanted to see, yes if
All of these people who have the gift
Could take this challenge on
And try to say
Good things and nice things
For at least one day
I am not going to beat a dead horse any longer
I was just trying to see what kind of reaction I would
get from my poem and it seems I got at least over 200
people to read it. Just with that maybe I did a LITTLE
GOOD, and gave people something to think about.
