A walk in the country
By a soft flowing stream
A walk in the country
Has yes been a dream
We’d walk hand in hand
And watch nature at play
We’d walk hand in hand
And between each we’d relay
The feelings we have
The love that we feel
We’d talk about dreams
Oh I wish this was real
But back to reality
I go now and cry
And wonder and wonder
Oh yes wonder why
Our lives have reached this point
Where just simple things are a dream
And we just can’t have simple fun
