There are peaks
And of course valleys
In my life I have been
It seems that a valley
Is yes what I’m now in
I am lower than low now
No further down it seems
Can I go
But I am taking this stance that
It is only up now to go
I have been beaten
And battered
By what life throws at me
And although in a valley
A bright horizon I see
I feel optimistic
That only better I see
I see the mountain of hope now
That is waiting for me
