When I see someone
Who is afflicted with a limp
Inside my mind I say
I thank you lord
You spared me from
And then go on my way
When I see someone
Who cannot see
Inside my mind I see
That God did bless me
With good sight
And I’m so glad I see
Then I see people with no legs
Or missing hands or feet
Again inside my mind does thank
Our God that did spare me
But if I was afflicted with
A handicap as they
I’m sure my God would help me out
In each and every way
So when you see somebody
Who is struggling to live their life
Please try, yes try to help them out
And then you will know why
Why God did spare you
Made you be
A whole person who could see
That you were blessed
And you should give
To those less fortunate than thee
