I cannot explain the feeling
I felt the other day
I felt as if rain fell on me
But I could not see the way
The sky was blue
No clouds in sight
I could not figure out
Why I felt rain
Upon my skin
When the sun was all about
The only thing that comes to mind
When I think back to view
Yes view what could have caused me feel
The rain, or water, or dew
I now feel that just maybe
This moisture yes was sent
Sent down to fall upon my skin
From something heaven sent
Yes now I feel that tears were shed
Perhaps by the angel who
Yes guardian angel sent to watch
To be there and to view
Yes maybe this was a message
That someone from above
Is watching, caring, shedding tears
To show their care and love
From the poet. This was inspired by an
incident that happened to me all the way
to work a few days ago. I felt water on the
top of one finger and none was there. In
reflection, this is what I came up with.
