A Man Who Walks

Tonight I read a story
About a man who walks
And most would think him homeless
But he chose his life and talks
Yes talks about his Savior
And what he called him to do
He works for food and buys bibles
To give to me and you
So if you chance upon him
Your life he surely will change
And if you never met him
Then Jesus is his name
Yes our Lord has said if you do
Something for those who do have need
Then you have done what you’ve done
For him most certainly
So friend next time you see one
A walking on the road
And he asks you if he can
Do work to ease his load
If no work you can offer
Just give him food or cash to show you care
Because this one you are helping
God will know because he’ll be there

This was inspired by a story that Irene
Craig sent to me. And it reminds me of a
man who I always see around our town and
he is rummaging in trash cans for food.
Everytime I see him I give him money. And
one time he gave me some paperback
books as a thank you. They were not a
bible but it does give me a lesson everytime
I see him. Thanks Irene
