So many times in my life
I have felt like I was traveling down a long road
And on this road there were bumps and holes and side roads
Sometimes I fell over the bumps
Sometimes I fell in the holes
And sometimes I took a side road and it turned into a dead end
I have gone into tunnels on this road
And the light at the end of it was an on coming train
But right now I feel that I am taking a step
A step on my road in life
It is a new road and it has a tunnel with a light at the end
I don’t hear the train whistle so I am entering this tunnel
Even though it is dark I feel like I have a companion along side
This companion is our Lord Jesus
I feel that he is taking my hand and leading me on
The fear that I have had seems to be gone
And I am very very excited about the future
I still know that I will have bumps and holes and side roads ahead
BUT with Jesus by my side I FEAR NO EVIL
This is just a mind musing about how I feel today
