She walks around the house
Just looking you see
She is looking and looking
And for now she knows me
But when I asked her
What she is looking for now
Your comb or your brush or your rings
Are they lost now
Yes up till this time
A simple fix was for me
To have backup of the things
That she lost but you see
This day what she lost
Now could never be found
She asked for her father
Long long dead
But right now
Yes right then when I told her
That he died, then to she
It just happened in her mind
No not 40 years ago you see
This was just one of the things
That did happen cause her mind
Was losing so much memory
Oh no age is not kind
And the heartbreaker for me
Was when she finally passed on
All memory of me
Was also now gone
This is dedicated to the memory
of my Mom Mom now dead 16 years
