Life’s avenues I have been down
And some on some of them
I was driven down
Yes many of them have been a blur
And on some of them I wished I never were
Some of them seem I keep going down again
And the fun ones I have not been down
Since God knows when
But I pray that many more
I will travel upon
And I pray some up ahead
I’ll have much more fun
But I guess, I guess
I would not be me
If these life avenues
I had never seen
