A curious breed
We poets have needs
That some people just don’t understand
Whether woman or man
We poets sure can
Express our deep feelings through rhymes
Many times
I’m afraid it mess’s our mind
When someone is not very kind
It affects confidence, I’ll tell you
But some you will see
Will say they can go climb a tree
And we’ll continue that’s what I plan for me
But there are other’s you see
Who get crushed don’t you see
So we who can be strong so must show
That we are family
And must show them that we
Are here supporting our cause
Don’t you know
