We are both just too combative
We both just want to win
We neither can take ownership
Of the fix we are in
We are both just pointing fingers
Instead of trying to work things out
If we don’t find the answer’s
This marriage never will work out
But we both must make an effort
To work together so
This marriage will not perish
But will flourish and will grow
I know you feel I am stupid
And think I know it all
But if we can’t work together
We must yes just make the call
The call to end this ‘MARRIAGE’
And yes it is in quotes
Because we both disparriage
This word, and if we do
It will never work
