We gather together
To get stuffed with turkey
And yams also corn and those black olives please
While mom’s in there cooking
The men they are a looking
At football and football until they fall asleep
Aunt Gladys brought pies
Which we all find delicious
And Uncle Harry smokes stogies
That makes you want to heave
The kids are a screaming
And Grandma she is beaming
Cause everyone is home
For the Thanksgiving Feast
Oh mom’s tuckered out now
And Dad farts like an old cow
And pictures of old days
Are shown on the wall
Those gone are remembered
And the party’s disassembled
Another Thanksgiving Day’s ended again
