Dear Lord I’ve failed you
Oh yes it’s so
I’ve fallen victim
You know that’s so
I’ve let the evil one you see
Come tempt, yes tempt, let him tempt me
And I gave in and just the same
I wished oh wished I called your name
Yes what I’ve done is played his game
Oh Lord please help me to fight his call
And please help me
To not play his ball
Yes play his game as he so wants
Help me to fight just what he wants
Yes help me to resist HIS view
And help me follow, follow you
