You have heard it
So many times before
Reach out and touch someone
Oh yes spread the word
Give someone encouragement
Help someone today
Do something, anything
To help those who say
That life is not worth living
That there is nothing that they see
That makes life worth anything
Oh please help them and see
That there is, so much to do
And so much each day
That each of us, can help someone
Who comes in our way
A smile, a hello, a is there anything I can do
Yes these small things
Every one of us, can certainly do
Just help someone, yes any one
And better you’ll feel
And you’ll know that you touched someone
And that better they feel
