Open your mind
And try to explore
All of the wonders
That life has in store
Yes these are the words
That many have said
To a young person starting
Out on life’s highway to tread
But how many of us
Believe it oh yes truly do
Feel opportunity
Is out there waiting for you
Especially when ten years, twenty or more
We so have traveled
Down life’s corridor
What happens to each of us
As we do grow old
And lose the enthusiasm
In our youth we did hold
So where can we find it
Where did it go
How can we regain it
After we are old
Is there a way
If you find it, please, please
Please, let me know how
You found it, do please
