Contact Lense Wearer’s Lament

Contact lenses sure can fly
Everywhere when out of eye
I’ve had them fly in my chair
On my desk and in my hair
I’ve lost them inside my eye
I’ve had them land in my pie
There’s not many places, they’ve not gone
Maybe glue should be put upon
Put on them to make them stay
In your eye so they won’t lay
Lay somewhere, where they’re stepped upon
And if are, then they’ll be gone
Contact lenses sure can fly
And I do so wonder why
