Exhaustion envelopes me
I just can’t explain
Why every day
I am totally drained
Each morning my eyes feel
As heavy as lead
Even though I had gone
Early to bed
I guess it’s our troubles
That weigh on my mind
I wish a solution
To them I could find
But one after the other
In waves troubles come
I’ve tried to turn over
My troubles to God
But I still feel worried
I know that is why
Exhaustion envelopes me
Makes me want to close my eyes
Oh Lord show the way Lord
So that I so will see
A way for exhaustion
To not envelope me
