Dampens your view
When it rains for days
This I’m telling you
You feel that your drowning
You feel it won’t end
When it keeps on raining
It really does send
Yes it sends your feelings
So low that you know
That only some sunshine
Will help it to grow
So if you see someone
Who’s spirit is damp
Just send them some sunshine
With your voice you can send
Yes tell them a joke
Or a cheery hello
Just try to cheer them
So as they do go
Go through their day
Even though that it’s wet
Some sunshine of spirit
You’ll help to be set
