I am sure you have heard it before
And you’ll hear it again
All that we have
Has been given to man
Nothing really is owned
It is only a loan
God is the one
Who has given these loans
And one of the gifts
That we have received
Is the gift of our lives
So hear and please heed
All of our gifts, we must use
As God wants us to use
Because these gifts we could lose
I am sure this is not to you new news
When our gift of our life ends
We certainly will
Will be held accountable for
For the way it was used
So please use it wisely and don’t abuse
And thank God today
For our gifts every day
And ask for his guidance and love
For his gifts from above
