Have You Been An Angel – Ron Gainsford

Have you been an angel
Have you helped someone find
Find an answer for troubles
That were weighing on their mind
Did you lighten a burden
Did you help them through
Something that did bother them
Or did you just view
View that was THEIR TROUBLE
And twas not your place
To help them through what they faced
And did you so erase
Erase all thoughts of helping them
Of trying to just be kind
Or were you just an angel
By helping them to find
Find a way to fix their hurts
Find an answer for
For the things that they’ve endured
And helped them just because
Because you are the kind of person
Who answers when you’re called
Called upon to help a need
Whenever you are called
