Where are the friends
I had in youth
What are they doing now
Are they parents just like me
Or are they grandparents now
I’m sure that some have traveled on
To hear the heavenly call
But I pray most are happy here
And have not traveled on
If they are grandparents
I hope they have
Much fun with all the kids
The young ones and the old ones too
To make them young again
And then I’m sure some never married
I do pray that’s their choice
Whatever now they’re doing now
I hope that they rejoice
Yes they rejoice because they have lived
A life that’s full of love
Yes I do wonder what has become
And send them all my love
