The Angel who guards you so
Things awlful don’t befall you on

Is at your beck and call
Have you given a name to this
Heavenly messenger or not a name at all
I know I’ve named mine and I talk
To him when trouble brews
This Angel, Nel’s my name for him
Has helped me out of stews
I truly believe he rides along
And helps me everyday
Especially when he’s called upon
When I do start to pray
So get to know your helpful guide
Who’s there when you have need
And he will surely help you out
I really do believe
Of course this Angle that you have
May not be he at all
No he a she may also be
When you leave out your call
