How close have you been
To death’s door
Have you been there yourself
I’ll tell you this
I have been there
And it twas caused by self
Yes I attempted suicide
But God gave me a chance
A chance to change
A chance to live
And on this world remain
So now I feel he’s given me
A mission here on earth
To help some other’s who do feel
No use they have on earth
To them I say
There’s always worse
Yes worse that what you see
And prayer’s the answer to your woes
Yes God will so help thee
Yes I am proof of how he helps
If not then, I would be
Six feet under and surely in hell
And this you would not see
