Next time you see
Walking down the street
A person who’s dirty
And not so neat
Do you just walk past them
Not look in their eye
Just keep on walking
And dare not spy
Or do you look at them
Say, How are you doing?
Give them a dollar
Or a blanket if their shivering
This person you notice
Just maybe may be
An angle in hiding
Just waiting for thee
To see how you treat them
To see what you are like
Will somehow you help them
Or tell them take a hike
