I have spent quiet moments
Just thinking to myself
Of all the wondrous things God gave
Yes I’ve wondered myself
Why should I be so lucky
Why should he give to me
All the things I have in life
I don’t deserve them see
Yes I’ve not always thanked him
I just go on in life
Expecting that he’ll help me
When I mess up my life
So far he’s always helped me
Because his love for me
Is greater than any other love
That’s ever been given to me
His love is just unending
Although I am sure
He would so like a thank you
For this I’m truly sure
So from this day on forward
I’ll always try to say
Dear Lord I’m truly glad you
Have helped me out today
