Why is it so hard to see
All the good inside of thee
We are very hard you see
On the person that should be
The one to think the best of thee
Seems we’re hardest on ourselves
And if we did have little elves
We would use them to I know
To help to beat our psychi so
Try to be very kind
To the person on your mind
That you should be kindest to
This I say of course is you
