A tear was shed by me today
Because someone did pass my way
This person did remind this one
How special that my life has run
God gives to us yes everyday
The things we need to go our way
But often we feel we need more
And we shove God outside our door
We do not trust him try to bear
All of life’s troubles as if not there
Yes we ignore God when we need
His help and guidance when we need
Instead of thanking him when we
Should be so thankful instead of we
Yes we ignore what God did give
And just go on the same way we live
We don’t ask God to guide us we
Just feel that he will always be
Yes always be there when our need
Is so that we plead that we need
Yes need his help because what we
Messed up in life we feel that he
Will fix it all will clear things up
And if he does that’s not enough
We just want more and more it seems
We want him to fulfill our dreams
And not ask him to lead us where
He wants us go we just don’t care
So next time when you see someone
Who is worse off than the path we’ve gone
Thank God and ask him what to do
Before we are in someone’s view
Much worse than them and they pity us
So just don’t sit there, sit and cuss
No ask God’s help in good and bad
And better path we soon will have
