You touched our lives in ways I’m sure
You never thought you could
With words you said in homily
They helped us to endure
Endure the pain that’s in our lives
You must know how you help
You really have a gift I’m sure
To let such words come out
But gift I know is sent from God
And you admit it so
But your choice to use this gift
This gift so opens doors
Yes opens doors of hardened souls
Of souls who turned away
You have a way of touching lives
Yes, each and every day
