Yes, I am a Poet
A curse or a gift
I know many people would not say it’s a gift
But I feel God gave me, some talents to use
And this one emerged and I try not abuse
It seems that my best poems
Just flow right on out
And I cannot stop them
Or try figure it out
When they start a flowing
I must write them down
Or I quickly lose, what words I have found
So you must decide, if a curse or a gift
Is what made me write this and then send it in
