We take it so for granted
We do not think or care
Until it’s gone that’s when we
Do really get aware
Of how much that we use it
Of how much part of life
Yes water we do use it
It’s such a part of life
Not many so do realize
Until we have no more
We do need to conserve it
Until we have no more
So please do not abuse it
So can’t you really see
We must so sparsely use it
Or it may cease to be
