Back to the days.
When we were young and foolish.
Those were the days.
When days were carefree and we knew.
A safer world.
Yes me and you.
Oh yes today we do not see
a world where yes you and me.
Could yes walk anywhere,
yes we knew a better world
yes me and you.
We did walk everywhere
but now we find a world filled
with fear it is not kind.
Driveby shootings invasions of home.
No where seems safe, yes my mind does roam.
I don’t think ever we could see.
Oh yes the way it used to be.
