Although it has past
I am filled with thanksgiving
Because yes at last
My shoulder that was replaced
Almost ten month’s ago
Is finally doing movement
That I used to know
My doctor said full mobility
I never would regain
But thoses words in my mind
I would not let remain
In the middle of the night
I held my arm out
And I swang it around
I called out and did shout
I yes told my wife
To flip on the light switch
So yes she could witness
And would not miss
How far I have gone
And my pain yes was gone
So much movement I showed her
And I now feel
I am on
My way to total movement
Oh yes I am glad
